We are instructed on behalf of the China
Mutual Life Insurance Company, Limited, a Company registered in
Hongkong, to forward you the enclosed copies of criticisms of
The Life Insurance Companies Ordinance, 1907.

These criticisms, as you will gather from
them, have been made by experts in the matter of Life Insurance,
and we are requested to ask that the Government will carefully
consider them with a view to obtaining such modifications of
the bill as may be suggested by such criticisms and as may be
approved of by the Government.
