Mr Lucas

calutus

We must settle about his pay. He is entitled to three months full pay leave in two years: therefore, from

the amount which he can have now must be deducted any full-

A

pay leave taken in 06 & 07. 1961 shews that he left Hong

he

Kong on 15/12/06 and returned

fo

on 24/1/07 (6934). I presume

that both these days count as duty: therefore he was away

39 days.

Three months from 21/4/07 less 39 days brings

him to 11 June up to which day inclusive he can draw full

pay at £4800. I am assuming that he took no other full pay

leave besides the sea voyage but perhaps we ha better

make sure by asking him. When his full-pay ceases he can

(according to minutes on 10831)draw half) pay at £2400 until the ay of Sir F.Lugarā's departure. This seams not

to be definitely settled and we should therefore tell C.A to

issue half-pay from June 12th till further notice.
