In reply to your letter of the 21st ultimo, I beg to inform you that

at a meeting of the Council of the University of Durham College of

Medicine, it was resolved that the Recognition granted to the Certificates

of Laboratory instruction issued by Dr W.Hunter of Hong Kong, be extended

to Dr C.M.Heanley, Assistant Bacteriologist, who will act as Bacteriologist

during Dr Hunter's leave of absence.
