Board of Trade, October 30, 1907. WITH reference to your letter of the 5th instant on the subject of Trade-mark Regulations in China, I am directed by the Board of Trade to state that they concur with Sir E. Grey's proposal to inform His Majesty's Minister at Peking that, pending the decision of the Japanese Government on the draft Convention, he need not continue the negotiations with the Chinese Government.
