Admiralty to Foreign Office.-(Received February 13.)
Admiralty, February 12, 1907. WITH reference to your communications of the 1st instant and 22nd ultimo, inclosing correspondence concerning the iron barrier in the Canton River, I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to request you to inform Sir Edward Grey that they concur that the barrier should not be removed, and that a fog signal is the best and a sufficient remedy.
