Previous Paper: HONG KONG No. 16572 (Subject: Officers' Agreements - Omission of Family Remittance Clause)
DOMESTIC. 16572 RECEIVED (REG 10 MAY 07)
Minutes: M Stutt Fiddos.
CL referred this to Mr Fedders' instructions to raise the question officially; I agree with the bag that, in the case sent out remittance on behalf of officers such agreement, the family clause should be named for the reason they give.
I would inform them that the system presently causes trouble to this office, Treasury & Secretarial, and whether there is justification for its being continued. After all, cases of failure & support, such as mentioned in the C.O., are not likely to be frequent. Better have their wishes regarding such men normally.
