expenditure of £30 a year for 3 years on the work of repair, and directions have been given for the work to be carried out. As regards the subsequent upkeep of the graves, however, their Lordships of the Treasury consider that their maintenance in good repair might well be undertaken by the Colony, and I am to request that you will be so good as to move the Secretary of State to ascertain whether the Colony is prepared to adopt this suggestion.
