No.156 of the 23rd. iltimo, I have the honour to inform
you that, owing to the position of the existing sewer and
to the arrangements for giving outlet to storm water in the
vicinity of Marine Lots 20 and 21, it is not in the opinion
of the Director of Public Works necessary for the Colonial
Government to retain the absolute power to lay a sewer or
storm-water drain across these lots.

There are no sewers or drains crossing
the original Kowloon Marine Lots 35 and 36, and owing to
the configuration of the land it is not considered that it
will in the future be found useful to construct any such
sewers or drains.

In connection with the acquisition of
these lots however the Naval Authorities have been permitt-
