Report on Ordinance No. 15 of 1907.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled

An Ordinance to authorize Companies registered under the

the Companies Ordinance, 1865, to keep local registers

of their members outside the Colony

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to

the Governor's Instructions

The object of this Ordinance is set forth in the preamble.

The Ordinance follows generally the lines of the Companies (Colonial Registers) Act 1883 but somewhat extends the scope of its provisions. The Governor-in-Council is empowered to relieve
