I have the honour to state that I
have had under consideration an appeal by the Seamen's
Hospital Society, Greenwich, for financial assistance, and
that I have decided with the advice of my Executive Council
and subject to Your Lordship's approval to make an annual
grant to the Society of $200 out of Colonial Funds.

I shall be glad, ir Your Lordship
sees no objection, if the Crown Agents may be instructed to
pay the sum of $200 to the Society on the 1st. January
next,
and thereafter to make annual payments of a similar
amount.
