It would appear inequitable that the Officers in question should be placed under such a disadvantage, and I have accordingly to request Your Lordship's sanction to amend Section 9 subsection 1 of Ordinance No. 3 of 1900 as amended by Ordinances Nos. 12 and 40 of 1902 by deleting the words "for the payment in the Colony of such salaries or pensions".
