Madam,
With reference to the recent fall of a retaining wall on your lot (Inland Lot 1523), I am directed to call upon you forthwith at your own costs and charges, well and sufficiently to repair, uphold, support, maintain and amend the said wall to my satisfaction in accordance with the terms of the Crown Lease of the lot.
I must warn you that if you fail to comply with this notice within a reasonable time it will be necessary for the Crown to exercise the power of re-entry conferred by such Crown lease, thereby avoiding the term of years granted to you.
A copy of this letter has been sent to the first Mortgagees viz.:- the Mercantile Bank of India, Limited.
An early reply is requested.
