Sir,
As I have been offered employment subject to production of an official reference, I shall be grateful, if I can get the same on, or before the 27th. instant, as I will most likely have to leave Hongkong by, or before, noon on the 28th.
If it is not an inconvenience, I should be extremely grateful if I were settled up on the afternoon of the 27th. as I have an appointment for 10 A.M. on the 28th. and I may be required to leave Hongkong immediately after.
I shall be grateful for a good reference.
