ImAtkins The Principal Civil Medical Officer of Hongkong.

On the 19th of October, 1904, the Hon. Dr.JM Atkinson P.C. M. O. paid a flying visit, of about five minutes duration, to Kennedy Town Hospitals. (^1) On the 28th of November 1906, the Hon. Dr Atkinson, in company with the Medical Officer in charge made an official visit to Kennedy Town Hospitals.

On that occasion, the Hon. P. C.M. O. was dissatisfied with everything about the buildings at that time, I mention, suffered in appearance from the effects of the, memorable, Hongkong Typhoon, of the 18th September 1906. (8) The principal cause of the Hon. P. C.M. O's displeasure, as far as I could gather, was that a small window of a store room was not fastened.
