5th. January, 1906, the cheque for $27.20 is partly belonging to the Corinthian Yacht Club and partly for coal for the Government Pavilion.
18. 2nd. February, 1906, the sum of $68.75 is proceeds of a draft for £7.
19. 28th. February, 1906. The sum of $100 is represented by amounts received from the friends of the late Inspector Hood to erect a tombstone, and of this sum $95 was on the 26th. April, 1906, paid by cheque to Kwan Wah, the balance being spent on photographs.

21. 3rd. March, 1906. This sum of $100 is probably in connection with the Corinthian Yacht Club.
9th. March, 1906. This sum of $800 is part proceeds of fixed deposit receipt for $1,900 cashed by me, and referred to in item No. 27.
22. 22nd. March, 1906, the cheque for $43 is in respect of Mess Account.
23. 2nd. April, 1906, this sum of $200 I believe is the balance of the amount advanced by me to my friend to purchase furniture &c., referred to in paragraph 16.
6th. April, 1906; the sum of $250 is probably in respect of Mess Account and the Corinthian Yacht Club.

26. 30th. April, 1906. As to the sum of $500 paid in on this date, $200 was given to me by a friend with which to purchase articles in England while on leave; the balance is probably represented by the proceeds of Mess stock Hess account, and sundry sums repaid by a friend for articles purchased on his behalf.
27. "C". As to the sum of $1,900 put on fixed deposit with the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank on the 6th. September, 1905, this was received from Mr. E. M. Fazeland.
