On 30th October, 1906, the reply to your notice that the limewashing of No.15 Gough Street had been completed was received. (I attach a copy of these notices.)
The notice was sent to Inspector Fisher on the same day and he sent it to Inspector Lee.
On 3rd November, 1906, Inspector Lee reported that the work had been done but was patchy. On the 7th November, 1906, a letter was sent and the papers returned to Inspector Fisher. (Copy of letter attached No. 3928).
On the 12th November, 1906, Inspector Fisher visited No. 15 and reported that nothing further had been done.
On 20th November, 1906, Tai Chi Ho was prosecuted and fined $10.
On 26th November, 1906, Inspector Lee again visited No. 15 and reported work completed. As regards para. 227, so far as our records show, no letter was received.
Letter No. 3928 was sent on the report of Inspector Fisher.
