Referring to the concluding paragraph of the letter from the General Post Office, a copy of which was enclosed in Your Lordship's Despatch No. 49 of the 8th March last, I have the honour to forward a copy of a report by the Postmaster-General on the use of the Siberian route for the conveyance of correspondence from Hongkong and the Colonial Postal Agencies in China to England.
