With reference to Mr. Sercombe Smith's letter of the 19th ultimo, I am directed to inform you that in the charge (a) preferred against you the words and figures "on or about Christmas 1906" should read "on or about Christmas 1905".
I am to express regret for this mistake and to request that you will furnish me with any reply you may wish to make to the charge which is hereby altered by substituting the figures "1905" for "1906".
