September, 1905, I borrowed the sum of $35 from the manager of the Fux Cheong Wo Kee shop (No. 17, Ko Shing Street) and the sum was paid back

on the 30th. June, 1906; the whole of this sum had been paid up to the full amount and in the presence of a witness, and I obtained a receipt (properly chopped) for the full amount I had borrowed as above stated.
