Sir,
With reference to my letter of the 4th instant, I am directed to inform you that the Executive Council have found that the 4th and 3rd charges against you, which were communicated to you in Mr. Sercombe Smith's letter of the 15th ultimo, are proved, and that His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Council, has decided to suspend you from the exercise of the functions of your office as Senior Sanitary Inspector from the 13th instant, and to recommend to the Secretary of State for the Colonies that you should be dismissed from the Public Service.
2.
You will cease to draw the salary of your office from and including the 13th instant, and from that date until the decision of the Secretary of State is known, you will be granted an alimentary allowance of $50 a month.
