Mr. Conolly's answer to Charge
Receiving on or about the month of April, 1908, from Lo Man Kai at that time 1st Clerk in the Sanitary Department the sum of $10.
Answer.
On one occasion I did borrow from Mr. Lo Man Kai $10. I explained to him at the time that I required this money to send to my eldest son for repairing the tyres of his bicycle. The address of my son is c/o Mrs. Nixon, Ivy Cottage, Lower Malifori, Shepperton on Thames, whom is my sister.
This loan I repaid.
