Quarters of the Government Civil Hospital and the payment of passages if necessary.

(3). On the quarters being ready for occupation the Government to engage the services of 2 nursing sisters on the same terms as those on which the Government nursing sisters are at present serving, but the management to be for private nursing with the condition that after three years wholly satisfactory service a sister shall be offered the first vacancy that may occur on the hospital nursing staff of the Colony.

(4). As soon as the Government Nursing Sisters are available the Hongkong Nursing Institution to cease to exist, the balance of its funds, if any, being transferred to the Government.

(5). Either or both the nurses in the employ of the institution at the time Government takes over its work to be given the option of being transferred to Government employ under the conditions mentioned in (2) above, any time they have already served being counted towards the years referred to in that condition. Failing their acceptance of this offer their services to be terminated in accordance with the terms of their agreements.

(6). The Government not to be debarred from the employment for private nursing of "Staff Nurses" who have received 5 years training in the Colony as "Probationers" and "Nurses" when any such become available.

(7). While the two "nursing sisters" or "staff nurses" engaged for private nursing are always to be available for this nursing when required, the Government are not to be debarred from employing them in the hospitals of the Colony when they are not required for such nursing.

(8). The scale of fees for private nursing when this is taken over by the Government to be the same as now charged by the institution to non-subscribers, but the Government are not to be debarred from altering this scale should this be considered at any time advisable.
