(4). Either or both the nurses in the employ of the
Institution at the time the Government takes over its work to be given the option of being transfer-
-red to Government employ under the conditions mentioned in (2) above, any time they may have already served being counted towards the 3 years referred to in that condition. Failing their acceptance of this offer their services to be ter-
-minated in accordance with the terms of their agreements.
(5). The Government not to be debarred from the employ-
-ment for private nursing of "Staff Nurses" who have received 5 years training in the Colony as "Probationers" and "Nurses" when any such become available.

(3). While the two "Nursing Sisters" or "Staff Nurses'
engaged for private nursing are always to be avail-
-able for this nursing when required, the Govern-
-ment are not to be debarred from employing them in the hospitals of the Colony when they are not required for such nursing.
(7). The scale of fees for private nursing when this is taken over by the Government to be the same as now charged by the Institution to non-subscribers but the Government are not to be debarred from alter-
-ing this scale should this be considered at any time advisable.
if and when you inform me that the foregoing conditions are acceptable to the Institution I will at once communicate
with the Secretary of State on the matter.
