I am 2nd Boatswain of the S.S. "Cranley",
and was at the Shipping Office about 11 a.m. on the 10th November to receive my wages and to sign on again. I know the Boy Cheuk Foo who was Captain's Boy in the S.S. "Cranley". He Cheuk Foo owes me $20 money which I lent him at various times. I know a man called "Sai Yau" who is a friend of mine and keeps a "Boarding House". I had asked Sai Yau to deduct 20 dollars from Cheuk Foo's wages, and give it to me. But as yet I have not received it.
