Your letter of the 18th August 1906, together with copy despatch from Sir Nathan, Governor of Hong Kong, was submitted to a recent meeting of our Council, and I have been instructed to inform you that the course of Practical Chemistry given by Dr W. Hunter of Hong Kong will be recognised as qualifying a Candidate to enter the Examination for the Diploma of Public Health of the University of Durham.

Dr Hunter's course of Lectures in Comparative Pathology, with Practical work in the Bacteriological Laboratory has already been recognised by the University, vide my letter to you of 7th May last.
