j. L A 523 correspondence of 1895, namely, that Securities to the extent of one third of the total issue of the Bank's Notes (which at present amounts to $450,000) should be deposited with the Colonial Government that condition will be accepted by the Directors.
May I ask your Lordship to give the matter which is of great importance to the Bank your early consideration. My Directors beg leave respectfully to express the hope that you will see your way to authorise the extension of the Note Issue from $450,000 to $1,000,000 either immediately, or at some early date.
