BHAMO-TENGYUEH Railway: see your telegram No. 108 of the 18th May. Chinese and Shan co-operation is considered desirable by the Government of India. Negotiations for the construction of the line within Chinese territory should be continued on this basis, and His Majesty's Consul-General at Yünnan-fu should be so instructed.
