I was in the forecastle when the shouting began. I noticed the smell of a "stink-pot". I stayed down below and the pirates case and asked for arms. They searched all the effects down below, and they then forced me to drop anchor. There were over one hundred pirates. When the anchor was dropped I also saw some pirates on shore. They went off at Fu Wan. Some spoke Tung Kun, San On, Hakka, Sanshui and Cantonese dialects.
