of yarns into Yunnan. The export of Indo-Chinese yarn to China during 1905 was valued at £20,265. This probably went mostly to Yunnan in addition to the amount represented in this table.
Of the miscellaneous articles imported many, such as the liquors, were for the use of the Europeans employed on building the Yunnan Railway. The tobacco imported was mostly prepared Chinese tobacco.
