Board of Trade, December 28, 1905.
I AM directed by the Board of Trade to refer to your letter of the 5th instant, submitting copies of correspondence which has passed between the Foreign Office and the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce relative to the Regulations for the registration of trade-marks in China, and, in reply, to state, for the information of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, that the Board concur in the proposal to forward to Sir E. Satow, for his information and guidance, a copy of the letter from the Chamber of the 30th ultimo, containing their observations on the subject.
