Warder, John Ahern, Gaol Department, has been suffering from Chronic Rheumatism for some time past. He has lately been under treatment since 15th February but has made no progress towards recovery.
We consider he is not likely to get well here and we recommend that he be granted leave to England as we anticipate the change out of the Tropics may help towards his recovery.

J. Bell,
Superintendent.
