My object in now writing is to ascertain whether:-

There is any objection to the wording of the Prospectus being something as follows. "The Loan is required to reimburse the Government of Hong Kong the sum of £1,100,000 which it has lent to the Viceroy of Wuchang to enable him to redeem a Concession for a Canton-Hankow Railway from Hankow to Canton which the Provincial Authorities propose to build themselves."
