Q. Is that what you describe as the godown?

A. The back part of the shop is the godown of it.

Mr. Atkinson:- The store room, does he mean?

A. The place for storing goods.

Mr. Hewett:- Is the floor of the godown on the same level as the floor of the shop, or is it lower down?

A. Yes.

Mr. Chatham:- Was the Inspector's interpreter with him, when he came on the second occasion?

Mr. Sercombe Smith:- The occasion on which you say you gave Inspector Lee the $10? Was Inspector Lee accompanied by an interpreter?
