The 16th April, being on a Sunday, I was in uniform at 11 o'clock.
Kelly:- You made the report to the Senior Inspector?
Dr Atkinson:- Yes.
Kelly:- Well, it is a whole year ago, and I don't remember exactly. I don't remember whether it may be on these two dates.
Kelly:- You said previous, you had never seen me before, only in uniform?
Dr Atkinson:- He did not say that. I asked him, and he said he had seen you in uniform.
Er Thomson:- He said, always in uniform.
Kelly:- The 22nd June, that was on a Thursday?
Dr Atkinson:- Yes, Thursday.
Kelly:- Did he say he saw me at 11 a.m. that day?
Dr Atkinson:- I saw you the first time. I did not see you the other times.
Kelly:- I suppose he has a foki?
Dr Atkinson:- One is dead, the chief accountant is dead.
Kelly:- That is all I ask him. He says he only saw me on one occasion, Sir. That is all. I can do nothing with the others.
Mr Gercombe Smith:- Has any other Inspector ever come to your place, demanded ham and beer, to your knowledge?
Witness:- No.
Witness withdraws.
