NOTIFIED to all concerned that his Excellency has decided not to increase the above mentioned rates of Crown Rent after the 30th day of June, 1909, as he has power to do and accordingly the rates of Crown Rent will, except as stated below, remain the same as at present for the remainder of the present holder's lease not exceeding 75 years from the 1st day of July, 1898.

2. IT IS ALSO HEREBY NOTIFIED that His Excellency has further decided to at once reduce the Crown rent on latrines, cowbyres, and small sheds from 50 cents to 25 cents each, but as it cannot be ascertained at present who are entitled to pay such reduced rent, owners of latrines, cowbyres, and small sheds will be required to pay at the rate of 50 cents for each latrine, cowbyre, and small shed for the year ending June 30th, 1906, but those who pay punctually will be entitled to a refund of 25 cents so soon as it can be ascertained what owners are entitled to the reduction.

3. IT IS ALSO HEREBY NOTIFIED that his Excellency has further decided that the annual fee payable for the cultivation of pineapples shall not be increased, but that the present fees of $3 per acre per annum will continue. Every person having land cultivated with pineapples who has not already done so, or who wishes to obtain land for that purpose, must at once report the matter to the District Land Office in order that the necessary licence may be granted; otherwise, such reduced fees will not be allowed.
