The reasons why the revenue for 1906 did not come up to the Estimate are the loss of profit on subsidiary coin, as to which we have had a good deal of correspondence, and the fact that the Widows and Orphans Pension Fund was not transferred to the Government. It appears that the idea of transferring the fund has been abandoned altogether.
Leaving out of account the Widows and Orphans Fund, the original estimate of revenue for 1906 would have been...
