in reply to Your Honour's letter of the 3rd. instant
aldressed to the Colonial Secretary, I have the honour to infora you that it was rightly stated by Mr. Lucas in his letter of the 3rd. Hebruary last that Judges in this Colony are treated as ordinary Civil Servants in the latter of vacation leave.
Aith reference to the second paragraph of your letter
under reply, I trust that Year honour will not see fit to ask for leave juring the first calendar year of your service in Hongkong.
