THIS IS ΤΟ CERTIFY that during the months of October, November and December 1906 Mr. Thomas Anthony Hanmer (who former- ly served under Articles with me) has been assisting me in my office of Clerk to the Magistrates for the Borough of Hastinge and for the Hastings Division of Hastings kape of the County of Sussex. I find he has a sound knowledge of Kagis.erial La-, and that he is fully competent to examine witnesses and take Depositione in Court, which he has done for me during that time. He has also devoted much time and attention to the formal part of the work including the preparation of Informations, Summonses, Warrants, Commitments and similar documents.
In my opinion, he is quite capable of taking a 10st as Magistrates' Clerk in this country or as a Stipendiary Magistrale in the Colonies.
