Love 17832

My Lord,

Referring to previous correspondence on the

subject of the extension of Robinson Road, Kowloon, to the

North, last dealt with in paragraphs 1 to 3 of my despatch

No.86 dated the 9th. April, 1906, I have the honour to

transmit a copy of a letter from the Director of Public

Works submitting certain proposals for dealing with Kowloon

Inland Lots Nos.755 and 757 formerly sold to the late Mr.

F. R. Belilios, C.M.G., the location of which it has been

necessary to change to secure the full width of 100 feet to

the road about 500 yards beyond its junction with Gascoigne

Road North. The enclosed general plan of Kowloon and the

detailed plan of the existing and proposed arrangements

accompanying Mr. Chatham's letter together with that letter

sufficiently explain his proposals which I am satisfied are

advantageous. As they involve the sale of small additional

areas of land without auction Your Lordship's sanction to

them is necessary and for this sanction I now apply. RIGHT HONOURABLE

2.
