that there was no need to refer to that Order in the letter
of appointment, nor is it either necessary or usual to
alter General Orders to meet the case of individuals who
are taken out of the terms of such Orders by the terms of
their letters of appointment.

For the reasons given in para-
-graphs 6 to 9 above I am unable to recommend that Mr.
Hoore's application to Your Lordship should be acceded to.
