Assistant Master of the Police School.

I accordingly ask Your Lordship's
sanction to take the opportunity of Mr. Dealy's promotion
to be Second Master of Queen's College, should that be
approved,
to do away with the permanent appointment of
Master in charge of the Police School, and, if Mr. Grant
agrees under the conditions I have specified, also with
that of Assistant Master of the Police School, and to
substitute for the emoluments hitherto drawn on account of
these appointments non-pensionable allowances of $900 and
$600 without exchange compensation, which would be paid in
all cases to the Officers actually doing duty at the
School.
