co-owner who if he had existed would not have permitted the ad-
-vantages to go into Mr. Tung's hands only, and that even if the Viceroy could prove collusion between Messrs. Chau and Fung, such
proof would in no way affect the position of the National Bank of
China, Limited, as legal owners of the property mortgaged.
this Government has every confidence that if
the above considerations are brought to the notice of the Viceroy His Excellency will see fit to order the removal of the attachment
which he has caused to be placed upon the coal in question.
