My Lord:-
I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt
of Your Lordship's despatch No.39 of this series of the
31st ultimo and to report that in accordance with Your
Lordship's instructions I have addressed a note to
Count Lamsdorff recommending Mr. A.H. Rennie's claim for
12687 dollars Mexican for losses sustained owing to
the capture by the Russians of the Steamships "Arabia'
and Cal chas'.
