of the Engineer under this Agreement at an end and in such case the Engineer shall refund to the Consulting Engineers a proportionate amount of the sum paid for his return passage to London or the Consulting Engineers may deduct the same from any amount then due from them to him unless this Agree- ment be terminated under this Clause owing to such ill health of the Engineer as aforesaid for a period longer than four consecutive weeks and he forthwith and with all diligence (having regard to the condition of his health) proceed to
London. A duly qualified medical officer shall be the sole judge of the Engineer's fitness or unfitness to travel and the Consulting Engineers will not recognise that any delay was occasioned by ill health unless such a medical officer so
certifiea.
10th. Subject to the due and faithful observance and per- formance by the Engineer of all the terms of this Agreement he shall during such time as he shall actually remain in the service of the Consulting Engineers and perform his duties hereunder be paid by the Consulting Engineers at a salary at the rate of One hundred pounds sterling per calendar month in satisfaction of all services to be rendered by the Engineer hereunder. The said salary shall as to the whole or any part thereof be payable monthly in Hong Kong at the exchange of the day for sight bills on London, or in sterling in London as the Engineer may request the salary commencing from the date of the Engineer leaving London as aforesaid and ceasing on the day of his quitting the service of the Consulting Engi- neers or of his discharge therefrom or on the day of his death if he shall die in such service whichever shall first happen. 11th. Any notice or intention to determine this Agreement or otherwise required to be given by or on behalf of the Con- sulting Engineers shall be sufficiently given if communicated by letter or telegram to the Engineer at an address in Kowloon
