Gascoigne Road South of which it forms a continuation.
When the Naval Authorities ac-
-quired Kowloon Marine Lots 35 and 36 they approached this
Government with a view to the closing of the portion of
Austin Road adjoining the former Lot in order to join up
the two Lots with their other Kowloon Property. Sir Henry
Blake agreed to do so provided portion of Kowloon Marine
Lot 36 was surrendered to the Colonial Government for the
widening of Gascoigne Road. This exchange was agreed to but
does not appear to have been reported to you.
