not get on with Dr. Bell or any other medical officer in the Hospital ?

Roch

Laing I do not get on well with Dr. C. Since Dr. Atkinson left things have never been the same. Dr. Clark seldom interferes, but for the last few months one cannot do anything right, though at/one time when I came out here first Dr. Atkinson lived at the Peak and I ran the hospital myself. Dr. Atkinson came from 12 to one every dey, and for the whs rest of the time I had the whole control of the Hospitel. I am only sorry that Dr. Atkinson is not here now.

He wrote me a letter of thanks for the time he had to live at the Tech owing to the health of his children. Sometimes he could not come down from Saturday till Monday. Tverything went as smoothly as glass. Mr. Key will remember Dr Atkinson at the Peek on account of his children.

Laing was asked to retire. On being again summoned His Excellency
