with it in a most extraordinary manner. I saw the baby was dead, and I sent for SisterAllaway to take away Dr. Laing and I would
see to the woman. Dr. Laing did not know what was wanted, and
said he wanted a douche, though buey were all ready. When Sister

On the 25th May I went to bed as usual and there was a tremendous
noise. I heard a heavy thud on the floor and heard Dr. Laing's voice

went on for some time though I do not know how long. I thought
someone ought to go and see to Dr. Laing.
