Referring to your Despatch No. 17
of the 27th. January and to your Confidential Despatch of
the 12th. April on the subject of hospital stoppages in
the case of the crew of the former Russian Torpedo Boat
Destroyer "Burni", I have the honour to call your attention
to paragraph 5(d) of Major-General Hatton's letter of the
10th. March which formed enclosure 1 of my Confidential
Despatch of the 16th. of that month from which you will
have observed that on the application of Lieutenant Pini,
I.R.N., sick Russian Sailors have been sent to the Civil
instead of to the Military Hospital. Their expenses in the
Government Civil Hospital are defrayed by the Senior Rus-
-sian Officer from funds he has available for the purpose
and it is proposed to continue this system which obviates
the necessity for including any sum for Hospital expenses
in
