With refernce to Your Excellency's letter of

the Eth, instant, No.4/1905 P.S.0., addressed to Commodore C.G. Cicken, in which it is stated that Your Excellency's Government is prepared to hand over the Cape C'Aguilar and Victoria Peak Signal Stations from the 1st. July next, on certain conditions, to the Naval Authorities, I have the honour to in vorm Your Excellency that the matter has been referred to the Lords Com- missioners of the Admiralty, and I would therefore request that the date of the transfer may be deferred to the 1st. Cctober next, so as to give time for a reply from them.
