Assistant Land Surveyor age 23-28. Making surveys prin- -eipally in connection with land sales and the issue of leases, plotting and finishing plans,setting out lots &c. Should be a thoroughly qualified surveyor with experience in trigonometrical survey work in country of a rough hilly nature. He should be familiar with Traverse work and be able to survey intricate City lots
Salary and emoluments, and whe- ther secured by a permanent law.
£300 and $244 travelling allowance per annum. No quarters or other allowances than the above. Salary &c. voted annually.
Other circumstances affecting the Iralue of the office.
If transferred to permanent staff at expiration of agreement salary rises £30 and so on triennially to £360.
